Experience Overview

  • Driver met us at the hotel in Sorrento at 8 AM

  • The van had total of 8 tourists.  Van was air-conditioned black Mercedes tour van.

  • We stopped at Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello

  • At each city, we were dropped off for self-tour of about hour and half

  • No food was included

  • In Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello, the restaurant employees spoke English

  • No tip required at restaurants

  • Driver dropped us back off at the hotel at 4 PM

What We liked

  • English speaking driver who gave us history lessons and also made some stops along the way for scenic pictures

  • Van was comfortable

  • The 3 cities were very different from each other despite all being located along Amalfi Coast.  Great way to see 3 cities in 1 day.

  • Tons of social media worthy picture taking opportunities

  • We had our 8 year old and 3 year old with us.  They enjoyed the trip as well.  The roads were stroller friendly.

What We disliked

  • The roads are very curvy so you may get carsick.  Take motion sickness precautions.

  • No food or drinks were included so you will have to find your own food and drinks.  This was bit challenging because good restaurants were very busy with a line to get seating.

Verdict?

  • Comfort - 8

  • Convenience - 10

  • Value for the money - 8

  • Luxury - 8

On the scale of 1 - 10, We give this one: 8.5 (Worth it) 🔥
