About: If you're looking for a solid, no-fuss hotel in Tokyo that’s comfortable, modern, and well-located, try hotel Monday premiums. We stayed at hotel Monday Premium Ueno-Okachimachi. It was right in the Ueno area, making it super convenient for exploring Tokyo. You’re just a short walk from train stations, local markets, and cultural hotspots like Ueno Park and Ameyoko Shopping Street. There was also a 7-eleven two blocks away and made it very convenient for food & drinks 24 hours of the day.
The hotel itself has a minimalist, modern design with a bit of a Japanese touch—clean lines, warm lighting, and a simple but stylish vibe. It’s designed with something they call the "120LDK" concept, which basically means they’re trying to make hotel rooms feel more homey and functional. And honestly, it works. The rooms feel a little more spacious than your typical Tokyo business hotel, and they’re set up in a way that makes sense—no wasted space, just efficient and comfortable.
Two sinks and a washing machine. The machine has a dryer function, but didn’t work very well. There are plenty of hangers to hang dry.
Full tub and shower room with a door
On the scale of 1 - 10, I give this one: 9.2 (It’s not a luxurious stay, but definitely a clean, convenient option. The room has dining table, sink, dishes, pans, induction stove, toaster oven, and a microwave along with a washer. The front desk person was nice and elevator smelled nice and quick. Overall, it was a great stay in a popular Ueno area of Tokyo.)
